Cornerstone Acquires N2 Imaging Systems from Collins Aerospace

IRVINE, CA — On February 15, 2019, Cornerstone Capital Holdings (“Cornerstone”) acquired N2 Imaging Systems (“N2”) from Collins Aerospace, a unit of United Technologies Corporation (NYSE:UTX).

N2 is a leader in the design and manufacture of compact, low power, visible and infrared imaging systems (near infrared to thermal) used for soldier vision enhancement, surveillance, or threat detection-and-targeting conducted during day, night, or under low visibility conditions. N2 provides improved personnel protection by enhancing situational awareness. Focusing on mission-critical systems and platform capabilities, the company works closely with customers to meet requirements, and provide complete training, system and field service support.

N2 fits well within our aerospace and defense portfolio and allows us to further support the critical missions of our military. We are very excited about N2’s ability to capitalize on the growth prospects in the infrared imaging systems market.

N2 represents the eighth overall corporate divestiture completed by Cornerstone since 2012.
